Services
The OSU Radiation Center primarily performs services for State of Oregon agencies and institutions. It does not generally supply 'production' services to others if such services are readily available commercially, but will refer any enquires to commercial companies. However, the Radiation Center does peform such work if it is clearly of an educational and/or research nature.
Services available:
- Counting & analysis services including neutron activation analysis
- Irradiation services including isotope production and gamma sterilization
- Radiological measurements
- Radiological instrument repair and calibration
- Forensic neutron activation analysis for law enforcement
- Radiological emergency support to the Northwest
- Consultation on a range of nuclear and radiation protection topics
- Educational talks and tours of the Radiation Center
